Consulting Partner - Charles Dow
Charles provides technical decisions and recommendations to BMAK as needed. Always known for his forward thinking and accurate technology choices, Charles' technical expertise that spans multiple technologies and architectures ensures that BMAK's ICT recommendations anticipate our customer's needs, technology directions and avoid technology obsolescence.
Charles was formerly VP, Product Engineering at SLMsoft Inc. During Charles's career at SLMsoft, the development projects he led received considerable external recognition for completing challenging technical projects including several that other consulting firms were unable to complete. Charles' clients and user groups were unanimous in their praise for his client-focus.
In 1999, Charles' team won the prestigious Application Development Trends Magazine Innovator award. Prior to SLMsoft, Charles held senior positions at Deloitte and Touche/DRT Systems and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
Charles has several published technical articles and has presented in the Middle East, India, Africa, North America and Great Britain. Charles is currently a director of a Web 2.0 Canadian start-up and assists many start-ups with their technical strategy.
Charles obtained a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1977. In addition Charles volunteers his time to the Global Literacy project.
