Consulting Partner - Larry Lall
Over the last 25 years, Larry has held many progressive Information
Technology (IT) management positions in Canada, the United States,
Brazil and Kuwait. He has been able to successfully lead and build his
teams and organizations while building strong relationships with
customers, vendors, shareholders and other stakeholders. During his
last engagement, he was able to change the IT team from a "knowledge is
power" to a co-operative team focused organization. Whether these
organizations have been as small as 5 or as large as 170 people, Larry
has maintained his focus on leading the team and developing his people.
His focus has always been on delivering services and value to the
customer, establishing and building IT team, customer, shareholders,
stakeholders and vendor relationships while ensuring a Win-Win scenario
exists for all.
As part of Larry's managerial
responsibilities, his concern for the financial impact of business
decisions has always been central to his management philosophy and
success. He has been able to build, implement and track budgets,
determine and build pricing and costing models, revenue recovery and
reconciliation models. He has built processes and procedures to manage
the allocation of project costs and IT expenditures, used to improve
the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations.
Starting his career in the

telecommunications provider, provided applications development and
support services to a large Midwest US telecom provider, provided IT
computer and network operations management services to a Brazilian

subsequent delivery projects, in Chicago, through CGI. One of these
projects was to design, build, implement and support an operations
system to track and bill utilization on over 600 Unix devices. The
solution utilized a development team in Toronto, and an operations team
located throughout the central United States. The delivery team was
further augmented with people from other CGI departments and several
independent contractors.
During his engagement at the
large conglomerate in the Middle East (Kuwait), he led IT
Administration and Operations. His responsibilities included,
structuring and leading planning activities for 30 business units, IT
Human Resources (staff development, recruiting and retention),
Security, Service Desk, Desktop and Infrastructure Support, Financial
Management, ITIL process implementation, and Administrative support
functions. He also headed and project managed several projects, within
these areas of responsibility, to successful completion.

years.
Given his extensive experiences in a variety of IT positions and roles,
(Consulting, Operations, Development, DRP/BC, Service Desk, CRM, and IT
Financials), he is well suited to translate customer, vendor and
stakeholders issues into actionable requirements and solutions. His
focus is on building win-win, teamwork scenarios among customers,
