Chairman and CEO - Peter Neckles
Peter, a native Trinidadian is the founder of BMAK. He was educated in
England where he completed High School prior to attending Portsmouth
University where he obtained his HND in Computing. He joined Neal and
Massy in 1982 after graduating and later joined National Commercial
Bank, now known as First Citizen Bank in 1983.
At FCB he was responsible for the support of the bank's new online
banking application.
After
FCB, he joined, CIBC (Bank of Commerce), as a Senior Analyst,
responsible for reviewing the bank's loan portfolio and payroll
systems. Within 2 years he was promoted to Manager for Systems and
Development with responsibility for support to the other CIBC banks in
the region, namely Bahamas, Barbados and Jamaica. In 1993, he joined a
private Computer firm (CECP) with responsibility for Software, Training
and Consulting.
During this period he won contracts to provide training to a number of
large corporate clients and hence gaining recognition for CECP as one
of the leading training companies in Trinidad. It was at CECP, when
approached by clients for a computerized payroll system, that he
designed a payroll system for medium sized companies, which is being
used by many companies today.
Peter
eventually formed his own computer consulting firm offering consultancy
services in computer technology. Among Peter's clients are companies
such as American Express, Mackenzie Financial and IBM Canada. His job
functions include managing virtual teams that are located in the USA,
India, Singapore and England. Peter introduced the National Insurance
Board of Trinidad and Tobago to a unique design to allow companies to
submit their NIS contributions via the web.
