NLP-001  Conflict Management with NLP for Managers


Overview
This course teaches an NLP model which can be effectively used as a tool to diagnose conflict and a guide to help resolve it. It teaches skills to facilitate conflict resolution, techniques for changing perception, overcoming the sources of conflict and dealing with negative emotions. It also explores the sources of conflict and looks at what managers can do to minimise conflict and facilitate conflict resolution amongst individuals and groups.

Duration 2 days

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Use a simple model to diagnose the cause of conflict and facilitate resolution
  • Take a balanced view of all sides of a conflict and identify what needs to happen to resolve the conflict
  • Recognize the influence values have on conflict and the importance of creating shared values to develop productive working relationships and win-win solutions
  • Express shared values to drive effective behaviour in teams
  • Use a reframing technique to reduce negative emotions and create alternative solutions
  • Deal with your own emotions so that you are able to keep positive attitude while you work through the conflict to gain a resolution
  • Keep important relationships intact whilst working towards conflict resolution
