Consulting Partner - Dr. Steve Weatherbee (Lead Educational Consultant)
Dr. Steve Weatherbee serves as an Adjunct Professor for Charles Sturt
University and Academic Advisor for Ontario Principals Council Masters
Dimension Program candidates.
Dr. Weatherbee spent 21 years in K-12 education including experience in
both elementary and secondary schools as classroom teacher, department
head, vice principal, and principal. Over the final five years of his
career he strategically mobilized key stakeholders and school staff of
low performing Ministry schools into professional learning communities,
creating a cycle of continuous improvement for increasing student
achievement.
He currently provides special project support and consulting to
multiple school districts throughout North America, the Middle East,
and Europe supporting strategic initiatives in school improvement,
teacher training, leadership training, early literacy initiatives,
strategies for supporting students at risk, and technology
implementation. In addition, he is the President and CEO of eCenter
Research Inc providing specialized services in research design,
instrument/survey development, data collection, data analysis
(descriptive, inferential, and predictive statistical modeling), report
preparation and interpretation, publication preparation, needs
assessment, program evaluation, web-based solutions for research
management, data collection/survey deployment, custom reports, and
online assessments.
Dr. Weatherbee has strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills as
validated by high scores on the BarOn EQ360 Emotional Intelligence
quotient inventory scale. He is a 21st century strategic and global
thinker with demonstrated ability to lead challenging schools and
districts into a cycle of continuous improvement through leadership
development, facilitating key stakeholder involvement, empowerment of
staff, staff development, and enhancing teacher efficacy. His written
and oral skills are polished and he has exceptional skills for engaging
difficult people breaking down barriers and moving them forward. He is
keenly aware of group dynamics and sensitive to each member’s needs and
emotional state. As such, people are comfortable with him and groups
quickly embrace him as a leader.
In addition, Dr. Weatherbee facilitates and provides research design,
needs assessment and program evaluation services to organizations
worldwide and is a co-investigator on several research initiatives. His
advanced skills in research combined with his proven leadership through
a wide range of experiences in K-12 education position him as a
uniquely qualified leader for improvement initiatives.
